Responding to Kinetic and Movement Art

Following on from my research into kinetic and movement art and inspired by Suna Imre, I visited Wymering Manor and listened to the different bird sounds to document the different atmospheres and experiences; 

Sadly in the video, my phone did not pick up all of the bird sounds that I could hear as the roads nearby were very busy due to road works. I sat and documented the bird sounds in three different areas of Wymering Manor;

Sitting in these three different areas allowed me to listen and document different bird sounds and to produce very different mark makings; 

I really enjoyed doing this mark making, it is a really playful and abstract way to present an experience and atmospheres. I am looking forward to experimenting with these patterns later on in my project.
